As people now-a-days relay more and more on technology to solve problems or to perform their work the ability of them to think in their own methodology to solve a particular problem is being reduced. As people are very much depending upon devices like calculators electronic gadgets to solve a simple problem and many more illustrations are given below.
While solving a particular problem the complicated calculations will take more time to solve for us manually. So it can be easily be solved by the help of a calculator or other electronic devices . this will save our time. we know that how to do but manually it will take much more time for us to solve that. This will not mean that technology will decrease our thinking ability but in turn makes our work easier by saving time.
When we consider the educational institutions ,for the particular institution they have to prepare their own curricula for each and every institution . so,if there are more in number of classes and faculty to adjusted for whom the time table is to be prepared. It will take very long time for them for preparing the time table. With the help of the software if we provide with the details of periods ,faculty,timings etc., the software will prepare the time table.for example consider a university like vellore institue of technology,lovely prfessional university,etc.. which will have a huge number of students and each student has a flexibility for the student to choose their period timings and faculty the need every day . at which it is impossible to prepare the time table manually. So, in this way it will very much useful us in saving our time and work burden. This means it will not deteriorate our thinking ability because this software was also implemented by human beings and being developed by humans day by day
In the field of medicines new medicines for various diseases are being invented by using various combinations of drugs. In olden days many diseases did not have proper medicines and cure but now a days medicines and cure is available for all most all due to this new advancements. This all due to the new thoughts of the human beings. But the machinery is to just analyse these compositions in which are very minute to prepare a drug.which will not be possible for human eyes. For example consider a pharmaceutical company in which drugs for various diseases will be prepared manually. All the drugs prepared there will be in milligrams of weight and this compositions cannot be accurately measured by human beings with their naked eye manually. So,technology is required for making the work easier but the new medicine or the drug will be invented by the humans.
In addition to above mentioned reasons there are also some drawbacks that we are facing due to these advancements. In the educational institutions many of them are offering smart classes and e-classes in which students relay on internet and other programs to learn . this will reduce the work of teacher which in turn they will not be able to guide the student regarding their doubts. As students are not being guided properly this will not enhance the thinking ability of student properly and will make them completely depend upon something for their work. as today children are tomorrows citizens,they should be made to think creatively on their own.
When we consider for solving a problem to do simple calculations people are depending upon calculators. This will reduce their thinking and calculating ability . in olden days they used to do their calculations on their own so this help them in increasing their thinking ability and also remembering power . for example consider shakuntala devi who was consider as the super computer of india used to calculate complicated calculations on her own without using any technical device. This made her to increase her thinking ability and made her to stand in front us like this.
In this way in various fields like defense,security,finance etc.. advancements had made work easier and saves our time by shading away the drawbacks.this way technology will not deteriorate the thinking ability of human but in turn leads to new advancements and achievements in various fields.
