The bar chart compares the percentage of male and female in six categories of educational institution in UK in 2010. Overall, female teachers gained the highest number in teaching pre-school students while university lecturers were recorded with teaching from almost male teachers. It is also noticing that men dominated in the role of university lecturer.
Clearly, the percentage of female teacher was higher than the counterpart in 3 categories including pre school, primary school and secondary school. To be more specific, there was approximately 100 of woman taking part in teaching pre-school students, which was 6 times as high as the figure for male in this category. Similarity, approximately 90 of woman teaching in primary school, which dramatically higher than the counterpart. Finally, more female teacher-teaching at secondary school than the counterpart, with roughly 60 for the former and 45 for the latter.
However, males and females were equally represented in teaching for colleague. But the percentage of males teaching in higher education was larger than females, which was twice as high as female teachers. Moreover, over 50 of men teaching in Private Institute, which was larger than woman whose rates ranged at 45.
