Most countries have some football teams in the world and each team has its own players. The players are the same nationality at some teams, but the players of other teams are various country or nationality. Sometimes some footballers criticize another player who is from other nations. Many people say that those players should face a strict punishment and be banned, fined or even imprisoned, but other groups say that they should be forced to do charity work and work promoting anti-racist campaigns as their punishment. I agree to some extent with both of these views and I will write about this and show some examples.

Firstly, any players should not be accused of racially by another footballer and their rights should be protected. However, some players do not adhere to this rule. For instance, in a match Suarez criticized Evra and told him some insulting words because he is a black man. That’s why the FA concluded a seven-day hearing, handing Suarez an eight-match ban and a £40,000 fine for racially abusing Evra. I think that this is the right decision since other players also moralize from this punishment and never do such deed.

On the other hand, such a strict punishment is able to take a toll on that player’s fame and as well it might discredit him. According to it, if that footballer is forced to do charity work, this might be better. For example, if Suarez was obliged to subsidize to black people who live in Africa and suffer from starvation, it would be better for all.

In conclusion, while people punish such footballers, they are expected to ponder about punishment. I recommend that people who punish someone should take into consideration everything and decide best.
