Living in a society means that each person as a unique one has a special skill to contribute to their community and they have to learn how to live and to share with others despite the differences in social conditions or abilities. Therefore, is in the school where kids with a range of talents should be mix with kids from different social contexts, to develop communication abilities, respect for all member of a community and people skills.
The school is the place where infants not only learn academic knowledge but also, learn how to live in a group. Sharing with peers helping to develop communication abilities, establishing friendship and showing their talents. For instance, when there is a bright child in the classroom, all their equals have the opportunity to learn from him, it is a challenge that makes children boost their interpersonal and academic skills.
Another reason why is important that children share with students from different social background is that they learn how to work individually to support their group and how to work as a part of a team. In this way, they will be learning how to construct a society in which everybody is different and each one has an essential role to play. For example, some students have leadership skills while others have artistic skills and when they have to work together, they can perform a specific task to achieve the same goal. At the same time, kids are helping each other and learning from their counterparts different aspects of the culture and developing respect for the difference.
In conclusion, I believe that talented kids should share with kids from different social contexts in the school because this provides the opportunity to learn from their counterparts while developing skills to contribute to their societies.
