Music is played in every society and culture in the world today.
Some people think that music brings only benefits to individuals and societies. Others, however, think that music can have a negative influence on both.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Nowadays it is almost impossible to imagine our lives without the impact of the music, it is everywhere-in every country and culture, but there is a controversial issue about the benefits and drawbacks of it. To be more precise, some people claim that they gain only benefits from the music, whereas others completely ignore this statement and insist that it may cause negative effects on people. I am going to discuss both views before drawing a quick conclusion.
To begin with, it is an undeniable fact that, for many years music was considered as a way of relaxing, it helped people to express their feelings. Undoubtedly, the role of the music, has not decreased during the decades, in contrast, nowadays people begin to use the music as a healing effect. In addition, music has other side effects like motivating us or sometimes it makes us feel sad or bad, naturally depending on the type of music and our mood. Furthermore, scientists have proved that music helps us to keep in mind the important things, and today in some countries teachers try to teach lessons like history with the help of the music, and it is considered as an effective way.
On the other hand, we cannot deny the negative effects, for instance, the lyrics of the music can be harmful and especially damage the psychology of children and teenagers. Moreover, listening to music in the loud volume or with the earphones can be affects badly to our health.
In my opinion, the major conclusion drawn from this essay is that, we cannot completely exclude the music from our lives, the main solution is to use music in a more safe way, precisely avoid listening to the music in loud volume.
