In the recent years, some nations have experienced a high level of economic development leading to much higher standards of living in urban areas but not in the suburban areas. As a result, the country as a whole may face certain problems. Perhaps, if the country takes some measures, these differences can be eradicated.
If the development of a country does not benefit both urban areas and the countryside equally, it may cause certain problems. Firstly, it may cause superiority and inferiority among the people of a country. Secondly, people from the middle class and lower middle class may find it difficult to cope up with the cost of living in urban areas due to their financial constraints. And lastly, due to lack of development of countryside, the residents may face water-logging, frequent electricity cuts and poor sanitation facilities. Eventually, even though a country may be considered economically developed, it may not be able to improve the standard of living of all the citizens.
However, these problems can be reduced by taking some measures. The main solution is to all problems is unbiased overall development , whether urban or countryside. This will resolve the differences among people residing in both these areas. Also, as both parts of the city would be equally developed, people would migrate around the city as per their financial background. Better infrastructure and sanitation would keep the citizens content and this will benefit the country as a whole.
To conclude, if the development of a country is not restricted to few sections, everyone will be satisfied and contribute to bring better developments for the country
