Proper punishment for crimes is essential for maintaining a secure society. Even if, the crimes and its motivation are different in each crime, some people argue for fixed punishments. However, I feel that all crimes are investigated well before deciding the punishment.
Most countries have prescribed punishment for certain crimes. Many people want to see severe punishments for shocking or violent crimes.
