Some people believe that there should be fixed punishments for each type of crime. Others, however, argue that circumstances of an individual crime, and motivation for commiting, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment.
It has been arguable that there should be determined certain punishments for each type of crime, but the others object it and considerate about circumstances of individual crime and their reason. While, I would argue that it is better to considerate the motivation and the circumstances of the criminal.
Citizens can feel uncomfortable and unsafe, if there are many delinquent around the city. Therefore, government should effort to make its state save for citizens to life. It is important to determine a type of punishments which should be given to offender. Some people advocate to fixed punishments for each type of vice, because they believe that whatever reason which can make someone for committing crime is unforgivable. If government make any exceptions this might lead sinner to commit more criminalities in the future. They will always make some reasons in order to reduce their penalty. Furthermore, it can be possible that the number of delinquency will increase rapidly.
On the other hand, determining punishment with considering both of the circumstances and the motivation behind them for committing illegal behaviour could avoid any others criminality in the other time. I believe that by analyzing the background and the condition of criminal can give more knowlegde related with criminality and it could be really help for government to enforce justice and make environmental life saver because we will know the techniques of criminality. So it can minimize any severe criminalities. Therefore, the condition and motivation of the crime should always be taken into account when deciding on the proper punishment.
