Some people say that advertising encourage us to buy things that we really not need and others say advertisements tell us about new products that may change our lives. Discuss both points and mention your opinion.
In today's material world we are inundated with various forms of advertising. Although it has some positive impact on our lives,I am strongly agree with the argument that commercial influence us highly most of the time to purchase the goods.
There are some strong arguments about the influence of advertisement to buy unnecessary items. One significant point of view is, there is ads everywhere nowadays and we can't escape from it. This means that, companies and organizations are promoting their products and services in different ways ranging from television ads to simple flyers, roadside billboard to internet based ads . For example, when watch a football match on television, we see the logos of tournament sponsors. Likewise, if we watch a latest blockbuster movie, we will probably see a product placed by some ad agency. The volume of advertising means that we, as consumers, tend to be profoundly influenced by it and buy without thinking.
There are also, however, strong arguments in favor of advertisement. some people say that it transforms our lives in positive way.Adverts informs us about the choices we have and sometimes it helps us to avoid unhealthy products. For instance, women are likely to avoid a cosmetics that does not suit to their skin and buy new a type by watching the commercial on the television or ads displayed on the smartphone apps. Without the advertisement, we would have less choice for products.
My personal conclusion is that, we can not escape from the world of adverts but we do not need to pay too much attention on it.
