The three illustrations show the development of a coastal area of Brightsea chronologically from the past condition, in 1950, to the recent one. It is also added with a blueprint of future design of it.
In 1950, the coast only consisted of a lighthouse and its keeper’s house,a jetty, and a few fisherman’s cottage.
