The three pie charts reveal the changes of percentage in yearly expenditure by schools in UK in the period of 1981, 1991, and 2001. There are five aspects compared in the pie charts: teachers’ salaries, furniture and equipment, resources, insurance, and other workers’ salaries.
Generally, the biggest expense of schools in UK was teachers’ salaries which contributed around 40%-50% from total spending in three decades. The other workers’ salaries also had big contribution in the school spending which was above 20%.
