The pie charts compare the population distribution in Yemen and Italy in the years of 2000 and 2050.

In 2000, there were 50.1% of citizens in Yemen were between 0~14 years old. Meanwhile The percentage in Italy is only 14.3%, which is roughly one-thirds of it in Yemen. When it comes to the age from 15 to 59, the percentage in Italy is around 15% greater than that in Yemen. Also, the proportion of people who aged over 6- in Italy is 24%, which is significantly greater than the 3.6% in Yemen.

By contrast, it is expected that Yemen will have greater percentage of workforce than Italy in 2050. The figure in Yemen will be 57.3% whereas that in Italy is 46.%.
