The line chart compares three sectors, in terms of contribution to Great Britain economy, over 100 years, from 1900 to 2000. The units are measured in percentages. In general, the figure of business and financial constantly increased, while the figures of the other two sectors decreased, with an exception for agriculture in the year 1950.
The figure of business and financial rose to become the field that dominated the economic of the UK in 2000. Although at the beginning of the given period it only contributed 2%, which was the lowest achievement compared to other sectors, it was registered for a significant increase by 8 to 10% in 1950. From that time on, it doubled its percentages every 25 years to peak roughly at 40% in 2000.
By contrast, the contribution of agriculture and manufacturing went down during the 100 year period. At the early given years, it had the highest percentages, which stood at 50%. Regardless of a small rise in 1950, the figure continued to fall reaching its lowest donation in the year 2000 (2%). Likewise, the figure of manufacturing decreased, with its percentage falling by nearly 27 to 18% in 2000.
