The table shows the average of IELTS General Test scores taking by students from the different counties (German, French, Indonesian, Malay) for all sections (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking)in 2010 .

The data shows that the greatest overall scores was achieved by participants from German, with approximately 6.7 in average. The next came was students from French, achieved overall IELTS band scores 6.5. Indonesian and Malay had score 6.3 and 6.4 respectively of overall scores. We can see that Indonesian had the lowest score among the other countries.

In the Listening section, German still achieved the highest scores with approximately 6.8. Perhaps, citizen in German using English language more often than the other countries did. The second position was achieved by French and Indonesian, which had similar score by 6.3 in average. Malay got the last position,given by 6.2. There was a significant difference in grades of Overall and Listening section achieved by French. While Indonesian had similar grades of both section.

Malay given 6.4 in Reading section and German had approximately 6.3 of IELTS score in average. Compared with 6.1 was given by French and Indonesian. It is shows that German had the greatest scores, besides French and Indonesian had the lowest scores in Reading section.

The highest grades in Writing and Speaking sections was achieved by German, had approximately 6.6 and 6.9 respectively. Then Malay had the lowest grades in the same sections, given by 6.0 and 6.6. Indonesian was in the middle position in both sections.

Overall, The data shows the evidence that Germany had the highest position in average of three sections (Listening, Writing, Sepeaking) and achieved the first position in overall perspective. We can see from each section that students get their higher score on Speaking section in average.
