The three pie charts below shows the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981, 1991 and 2001.Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant

The above given three pie charts indicate the alteration of spending of a school in certain years in 1981, 1991 and 2001 in the UK. Overall, it is obvious that in 1981 and a decade later chiefly figures are similar, while in 2001 approximately all numbers change markedly.

Apparently, while teachers’ salaries increased significantly from 40% to 50%, other workers’ salaries dwindled marginally from 28% to 22%, in 1981 and 1991 relatively. Likewise, the percentage of insurance and resources such as books ascended, although the proportion of furniture and equipment reduced threefold from 15% in 1981 to 5% in 1991.

By contrast to former years, in 2001 figures changed noticeably. While the percentage of furniture and equipment was one of the lowest figure of 5% in 1991, it soared dramatically to 23% in 2001. Unlike furniture, the number for other workers’ salaries and resources had become a half as it was former years.
