Average annual spending on mobile phones, domestic and international fixed services, 2001-2010
The line graphs below depicts the average amount of money on cell phone services, international fixed-line services and national fixed-line services in the period in the USA from 2001 to 2010.
Overall, 2 out of 3 line has significant changes. Cell phone services increased enormously, international fixed-line services oscillated slightly and national fixed-line services was opposite with increased of line 1.
As can be seen from the line graph, the money was spend on cell phone services climbed continuously. Back in 2001, this line started at only 200 dollars annually. It is a very little number in that year. Over the following 5 years, the figure of people who spent money on cell phone services grew double compared with 2001. The most dramatic change is mobile phone reached a peak of over 700 dollars National fixed-line services was different with cell phone. Started at 700 dollars in 2001.But after 5 years, the average amount of expenditure on national landline services reduced slightly 550 dollars per year. After that, the proportion of people who use this benefit still dropped down continuously at 400 dollars in 2010.
Perhaps international fixed-line services did not have much volatility in the line graphs. In 2001, the figure of this service started with over 250 dollars. Over time, the average money just rose 320 dollars in 2003. At first, it is a good indication for line 2 in the graph. Nevertheless, the quantity declined gradually approximately 300 dollars in span of 6 years from 2004. Although the average expenditure of international fixed-line services did not have much change, the number of money still changed at least against 2001.
