The bar chart below shows the number of students who chose certain university subjects in 2005
The chart shows the number of students enrolled in a certain university subject in 2005. The chart provides fairly specific information on the number of male and female students studying certain subjects.
For sciences, we looked at the chart and found that this is a subject that is loved by many male students (about 22,000 male students choose this subject). For the social sciences, we can see that this is the subject of choice for the majority of female students (nearly 25,000 female students choose to study this subject). The subject with the lowest number of male students is languages and arts (just under 3,000 male students prefer these two subjects), perhaps these are two subjects that require ingenuity and perseverance so the majority of boys do not choose these two subjects. The two subjects are not preferred by female students and are selected for at least law and mathematics (fewer than 6,000 female students are enrolled in law and only about 5,000 female students are enrolled) The remaining subjects are humanities and literature, the number of male and female students enrolled in these two subjects is not much difference. The chart shows the interests of students in certain subjects of the university. Depending on gender, interests, and receptiveness, the students will have different options.
