Essay topics:

The bar chart below shows the number of students who chose certain university subjects in 2005.

The bar chart shows the number of students who have chosen certain university subjects and broken down by men and women. These subjects are as diverse as Sciences, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Languages, Humanities, the Arts, Literature, and Law.
Specifically, when looking at the chart, the highlights are Sciences and Social Sciences, these two subjects are chosen by a large number of students (Sciences with more than 30,000 students, Social Sciences with nearly 40,000 students). Next are two subjects Mathematics and Language, these two subjects also have a large number of choices (Mathematics is nearly 25,000 students and Language is nearly 20,000 students ). No less are Humanities and Literature subjects (Humanities with more than 20,000 and Literature with more than 25,000), interestingly, men and women have almost the same number of choices in Humanities and men choose Literature more female. Law and the Arts subjects were chosen the least, in Law the number of choices for women was half that of men (total 15,000 students), and in the Arts, the number of choices was very low (nearly 15,000).
The number of male selections is almost evenly distributed in all subjects and the most chosen ones are in Sciences and Mathematics (Scientists with more than 20,000, Mathematical with nearly 20,000), whereas women choose very few of these subjects (Science with 10,000 and Mathematics with nearly 5,000). Women have strengths in Social Sciences and Language (Social Sciences is nearly 25,000 and Language is nearly 20,000) and that is also the opposite for men when the number of male choices is quite modest compared to women's in this subject (respectively. nearly 15,000 and about 2,000).
Thereby, we can see the characteristics of each gender: men often choose intellectual and logical subjects, while women often choose gifted subjects. In the future, both sexes may have different choices and the estimated number is unpredictable.
