Overall, what stands out from graph is that, more females of age over 35 relish doing physical activities than males, while number of males below aged 24 are higher than females. Another striking point is that, the number of both males and females ageing over 65 who are involved in physical activities is approximately equal.
Looking at the details, as regard males, 52.8% ageing between 15 to 24 did physical activities whereas only 47.7% of women did exercises during this age. After crossing teen age, percentage of females increases significantly relative to males. Between age 25 to 34 48.9% of women did exercises as compared to 42.2% of males. Then in between 35 to 44 ages, number of females were relatively high i.e., 52.2% than the number of males i.e., 39.5%.
Moreover, after age of 45, number of males started increasing gradually and reached to 46.7% at age of 65 and over. While number of females remained steady at 53% till 64 age and then plunge to 47.1% at age of 65 and over.
