We are presented with a chart that details the percentage of Australian male and female routine corporeal activity in 2010 categorized into six different age groups.
Overall, it is apparent that Australian women were more active than their opposite gender. From 15-45 female physical activity steady increased while the male physical activity steeply dropped; however, for the age groups above 54 a reverse trend was observed with woman in state of decline and man increasing their activity.
From 15 to 34 female corporeal activity increased by 1.2 %, while the male percentage dropped by 10%. In the age group 25-34, the female activity was increased from 52.5 % to 53.3 %, a slight incline of 0.8%, while male physical activity dropped by around 3% during this time period.
Moving on to 45-54 age group, 53.3 % female participated in physical activity which was 10.2 % more than male participation. From 55 to 64 male activity increased to 45.1 %, an increase of 3 %, while the female activity decreased to 53, a decline of 0.3%. Finally, in age group 65 and over, only 0.4 % men were more active than women.
