The bar chart illustrates data on the changes in the rate of the young generation who took part in higher education in various regions in three years, namely 2000, 2005 and 2010.

Overall, it is clear that the figure for all nations increased every five years, with a notable exception of country B. Additionally, country D showed the greatest tendency to attract the youth joining higher education throughout the observed period.

More specifically, country D experienced the highest proportion of the young generation in tertiary education, with a rate of 60% in 2000, rising substantially by 20% in a decade. Meanwhile, despite starting at the lowest rate of only over one-third in 2000, the figure for country A witnessed a gradual growth to roughly under 60% in 2010.

The percentage of youngsters taking part in higher education in country B and C accounted for 40% and a half in 2000, respectively. Their figures, however, saw little differences of approximately 2% over the rest of the research period.
