Overall, it is evident that while more females than boys passed science classes, the trend in geography is in the opposite direction. Additionally, both sexes did well in the subjects of mathematics, computer science, and foreign languages.
30,2% of girls passed the Chemistry competency exam in the academic year 2010–2011, which is nearly twice as many as boys. While 56,3% of female students passed Computer Science, the percentage for male students was 14,2% lower.
Contrarily, 30,4% of boys passed Geography, which was nearly 10% more than the percentage of girls who did. The percentage of students who passed Physics, History, Foreign Language, and Mathematics did not differ significantly between male and female students, despite the fact that the numbers for female students were slightly higher.
