The given bar chart illustrates the personal expenditure on five major categories (health care, transportation, food and housing) in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Japan in 2009.The given data is calculate in percentage.
It is evident from the chart that in 2009, the proportion of expenditure on food was highest at starting around 24% by Japan which was followed by United Kingdom by 20%, while there was slight difference between the United States and Canada (almost 14% and 15% respectively). On the other hand, people of USA outlay approximately 5% more money on housing than Canada that was around 21%. Similarly, british invest almost 24% and Japanese spent money near about 22%.
Furthermore, in terms of transportation, USA and UK had little bit difference in percentage of spending (about 16% and 15%). Canada, however, had 5% more expense as opposed to England that was 15%. After that figure was dropped in all nations significantly in which Japanese spent almost same on both health care and clothing (4%), whilst USA prefer clothing almost half of health care (that was 4%) expenditure and Canada spent double of health care on clothes which was around 7% in 2009.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that United States had highest personal spending than Canada, UK and Japan in all categories. Whereas, USA spent more money on housing and less on clothing , England invest less money on health care.
