The given chart illustrates the rank of ten countries in order of the amount of produced and consumed electricity in 2014. In every country, the gap between the electricity production and the consumption was less than 200 billion kWh. Also, although there is an exemption of Germany, all of other 9 countries on the chart generated energy more than consumed it in 2014.
Among 10 countries, China recorded the remarkably large amount of electricity in terms of both production and consumption, with 5398 and 5322 billion kWh respectively. Then the country which made and used electricity the second most was United states, taking the figure of 1000 billion kWh less than that of China. However, it still shows larger amount of produced and spent electricity than three times that of other countries which were ranked on from 3rd to 10th place. What is exceptional is that Germany where people produced around 526 billion kWh electricity and used around 580 billion kWh electricity consumed more electricity than made out while the reverse is true for other nations. Other than China and United States, there was not a big deal of difference among countries assessed as from 3rd ranking to 10th ranking.
