The provided bar chart depicts detailed information about how people in different ages group used 3 forms of media to receive daily news in 2011.

Overall, radio was of the largest usage by people aged 18 and more, whereas microblogging accounted for the least percentage in both five age groups. The number of people using social networking was seen to decrease significantly as they got older.

In 2011, the main kind of media for adolescents to get news was social networking (80%), while the figure for radio was half and that of microblogging was even lower (20%). The same statistic of social media went for people aged from 18 to 29, but the figure for radio was in the highest place (over 90%) and microblogging accounted for around 25%.

In terms of the middle-age (the 30-49s and the 50-64s), radio was still the most popular type of media with the percentage of around 90%, while those of social networking was 10% different and around 25% standing the figure for microblogging. The three statistics of radio, social networking, and microblogging both reached their bottom in the 65 and older age group.
