The chart below illustrates how many minutes ( in billions ) of telephone calls used at UK, including three call types in the course of 7 years starting in 1995.
Overall, looking at the gragh it is immediately obvious that local-fixed line accounts for highest minutes. And it wasn't increases at all the time like national and international- fixed line and mobiles (all calls).
In a period of 4 years since 1995, local-fixed line which stood at about 72 billion minutes in 1995 increases continuity for all the period ( it reached at 90 billion minutes in 1999) . From 1999 to 2002, it decreases continuity from 90 billion minutes to nearly 70 billion minutes.
At all the period of 7 years, national and international- fixed line increases progressively, at first the figure stood at about 35 billion minutes and after 7 years it increase about 25 billion minutes. A similar trend was witnessed in mobiles ( all calls ) which increase slightly in 4 years since 1995 and increase sharply from 1999 to 2002.
