The given chart depicts the proportion of young people who entered higher education in four different countries from 2000 to 2010.
Overall, the rate of the young studied further in 3 other countries increased while the figure for country B declined. In addition, the highest number of students studied in country D.
In 2000, the percentage of young students in country A accounted for 36% which was the lowest rate in the chart. After 5 years, the figure witnessed an increase to 58% and a growth of 10% in 2010. The figure for country D began with 60% in the year 2000 and experienced a dramatic rise of 20% in 2010.
By 2000, the rate of higher education learners remained stable at 40% for 10 years with a minimal decrease of 2% in 2005. In the year 2005, 50% of students pursued higher education in country C, followed by a growth to 52% students and a final stability until the end of the period.
