The Bar graph bellow shows the Expenditure in Million Pounds on fast food items by income groups in the UK.
The bar chart provided illustrates the spending on 3 distinct kinds of fast food namely hamburger, fish and chips and pizza by income groups in the U.K. in 1990.
It is evident that al of the given income groups spent most of their money on hamburgers, while the opposite was true of pizzas.
As can be seen from the bar chart given, in the high income group, there were 42 million pounds being spent on hamburgers, which was the largest amount compared to other groups. Spending on pizza and fish and chips were accounted for 19 and 17 million pounds, respectively.
Regarding the chart, people in the average income spent 32.5 million pounds on hamburger, which was 2 times larger than those in the low income group. The expenditure on fish and chips of average income group was reported nearly 10 millions higher than that of low income. The amount of money used for pizza of the average income and the low income groups were 12 and 7 million pounds, respectively.
