Overall, sales of all type of games was increased except console games in the time period of 6 years.

In details, in 2000 the sales of console games were of 6 billions, while two fold of console games were of handheld games. Moreover, in 2002 the sales of mobile games and online games were stared and the profit from its sales were negligible.Furthermore, sales of online and mobile games were beginning to surged and in 2004 sales reached over 3 billions dollars. After 2 years the sales of mobile games went up the figure of 6 billions of dollars and the sales of online games were touched to 9 billions dollars.

Besides this, console games sales were dropped continuously and sales of handheld games were escalated over the given tenure and the sales of console games were become half of beginning , whilst the sales of handheld games were of 18 billions dollars which was maximum.
