Inculcating the habbit of reading at an early age can open a window to a world of knowledge and wisedom. A child's brain is like a sponge, absorbing all through its senses. At this stage, with the introduction of books can take the learning experience to new heights. The saying "books are the best friend", is more relevent in todays modern technology world. While reading a book a child goes into a virtual world created by writer and flows seemlessly with the flow of book.
books are the oceans of knowledge, with topics ranging from architecture, philosophy, to arts, music, fantacy and many more. Young minds with regular habbit of reading develop into rational thinkers and good observers. A good book may leave a permament impression in one's life. Apart from knowledge, a reader develops qualities like patience, positive attitude and persiveness to tackle the tough times. A person with a book is never alone. reading can be theraputic in curing depression and lonliness. books are like an eyeopner to an illiterate, imparting the ability to think and judge and distinguish the good from bad.
Today the kids are exposed to internet, social media, gaming, through mobiles, laptops and tabs having hazardous effects. There has been a sudden surge in cases of depression, behaviour disorders, with lack of patience and negative attitude. The habbit of reading books is more of a requirement than just a luxury to be enjoued in pleasure time.
books are not only source of information on basic topics but also a guidance in spiritualilty and religion to tackle tough time.
