The chart and graph below give information about participants who have entered the Olympics since it began

The rendered bar chart delineates information about the number of men and female participates in the Olympics and line graph shows the total number of participants from year 1924 to 2012.

Overall, it is clear that number of male players was more as compared to female whereas with the passage of time the count of participants were increased.

As the bar chart shows, in year 1924, the number of men players was 3000 who entered the Olympics but the count of females stood at about hundred females. Furthermore, in 1952, about 4500 males have participated and in case of females it was only 500. The participation of mens was increased in year 1984, which was reached at 5100 men. While the female participation was approximately 1900. In 2012, the number of male players reached at its peak point which was 6000. However, the count of female players were only 4900.

Probing further, from 1924 to 1952, the total number of participants were increased from 3000 to 5000 than in 1984. It was stood at about 6800 participants. Whereas, the count of male and female players in Olympic silver at highest point which was over 10,000 in 2012.
