The bar chart illustrate the population in Japan in the past, present and predict the in the future while the table gives information for the percentage of individuals in two different age of groups.
Overall , the number of residents in this country had increased for the past 65years and it is predicted that this figure will seen a decrease in the future, in the meantime, the proportion of citizens over 65years old is forecasted to increase while the other will witness the opposite pattern.
Starting with the bar graph, in 1950, 84.1million is the number of people living in Japan, after experiencing a steady growth to 125.5million in 1995, this figure leveled off at the average of 126milion to 2010. Then, the quantities of Japanese will decrease rapidly to 89.9million in the final year.
Moving to the table, in 1950, the percentage of those who 65yeas old or over was 4.1% which was lower than the total figure which was 4.9%. 55years later, there was a rocket in this proportion to 25.7% while that for its counterpart was 20.0%. After increasing to 2035, the percentage of over 65-year-old people will see a slight fell to 36.5% in 2035 while the opposite will be true for the other.
