The chart below compares levels of recycling, as well as some less environmentally friendly forms of waste management, in fifteen European countries.
The chart shows comparing waste management about levels of recycling as landfill, recycled/composted, incineration and other for fifteen European countries.
If we look carefully, Greece have the highest rate by %90 while %8 of waste management belong to Denmark in landfill. In recycled/composed, Austria is lead by nearly % 85 whereas Greece has the smallest rate by %10. To turn 2 waste management which is incineration and other, Denmark and Luxembourg are almost same rate by %60 for incineration, in other side Germany uses other method for waste by around %12 in using this method mostly.
To continue with, Belgium uses methods equally about landfill and incineration by %25, and also they use recycled/composted method by % 50. In addition, for incineration, UK and Italy use equal by %9 for waste management. Spain follows the Germany about using other method by %7 .
To sum up, most of European country use the landfill method for waste management while incineration and recycled/composed method are used nearly equal rate. Other methods are used with more less or none rate by country.
