According the graph about Global hybrid vehicle sales from year 2006 to 2009 shows us the number of their sales very clearly.

It is easy to realize that US has the highest sales of hybrid vehicles among Japan and other country from 2006 to 2008 around 300,000 of sales. However the amount of sales of US trends to decrease lightly from 2007 to 2009.

Through the chart, we can see the increasing of the number of sales of Japan.

From year 2006 to 2008, Japanese people do not use many hybrid fuel and electricity transportation which is around 50,000 to 100,000 of sales. Otherwise, It is dramatically increase from nearly 100,000 sales to nearly 350,000 from 2008 to 2009 which is the highest sales among US and other. It illustrates that the Japanese citizen start using vehicles more than other.

In general, from year 2006 to 2009 the total sales from 360,000 to 740,000 which means all the countries from the chart trends to use hybrid vehicles much more.
