The chart below show information about European people of different age groups who went to gym once a month or more between 1990 and 2010.

The line chart compares the porpotion of European people who are at aged from 25 to 45 and 45 and over, going to gym once per month or more from 1990 to 2010

Overall, there was an significant increase in the figure of all age thorough the period. Membership aged from 45 and over was the smallest figure in 20 year period.

In 1990, the group aged from 25 to 34 and 18-24 accounted for highest percentage at nearly 10%. Then in the next 16 years, 18-24 rose drammatically and reached the peak at 60% in 2016 before declined and rose back to 60% in 2010. People aged from 25-34 also witnessed the same trend and was 50% by the end of the period.

In terms of 35-44 and 45 and over, they also grew in speed. In 1990, they were at approximately 5% before started to rose noticably to 40 and 21 percentage, respectively. However, the figure for people aged from 45 and over still remained the lowest position.
