The chart below shows the amount of leisure time enjoyed by men and women of different employment status.
The given bar graph compares how much hours were spent by genders in order to enjoy in various employment statuses between 1998 and 1999.
According to the graph, the men and women gave a report about they enjoyed much in unemployment and retired categories showing the same amount of time. 80 hours were spent by males while it was 60 hours for females in both these categories. In the employed full time status, the numbers of hours were consumed by men dominated on the women’s being about 48 and 38 hours respectively. Interesting point was that there were no women who took pleasure on their working in employment part time and housewives. Whereas, females expensed their 39 and 42 hours of leisure time respectively to relax in these statuses.
Overall, although there was not any amount of time was spent by men in employed full time and housewives categories the time advanced on woman’s other categories.
