The bar chart provides the number of free time spent by male and female of employed (part and full-time), unemployed, retired and housewives status between 1998 -99. The units measured in a typical week in hour
Overall, men did not entertain their leisure time by in a part-time job and as a role of housewives. However, they are at the top of the remaining employment status apart from part-time employed and housewives. For both sexes, they spent an equal amount of time in unemployed and retired status.
On the one hand, the most number of free time enjoyed by men, when they are unemployed and after retirement with almost same around 85 hours in a week where female also entertained with just under 80% in both category. If you looked at the full-time employed, both men and women spent less time when compared with other employment status. Men enjoyed free time just above 40 hours and women just below 40 hours in a week in a full-time job.
On the other hand, male employee did not take part in part-time and housewives status as it might they never enjoyed time itself in that status. While women are in lead in part-time job and housewives role with 40 hours and 50 hours in a week accordingly because there is no competition was there.
