At the first glance, the high and average income group spend the highest money on hamburger that is more than two fifths and around a third pence per person per week. The middle favorite food of British people is fish and chips. The high and low-income group spend same amount of money on it that is less than a fifth but average income group spend a quarter amount on it. Last but not least food is pizza which is very popular in high income group than low-income group, the expenditure on it, that is 20 pence and less than 10 pence per person per week.
Probing further, the consumption of fish and chips started around 300 grammes in 1970 after that it decreased gradually in given period of passage it reached at 200 grammes in 1985 then it rose slowly from 1985 to 1990 and reached just above 200 grammes. Moreover, hamburger initiated from just below 100 in 1970 it inclined drastically and surpassed fish and chips in between 1980 to 1985 then it was continue rise. After that, peaked as above 500 grammes in 1990.
