The chart below shows the amount spent on six consumer goods in four European countries.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
The bar graph depicts the amount spent in a thousand pounds sterling on six consumer goods namely photographic film, toys, CD's, perfumes, tennis racquets and personal stereos in Germany, Italy, France and Britain.
From the chart, it can be deciphered that other than on tennis racquets, Germany was found to be the nation which had spent the least amount on the other five goods. France contributed a less amount comparing the four countries on tennis racquets( a little more than 140 thousand pound sterling). However, Britain appeared to be the nation which had spent a maximum on these six commodities. A high amount, about 170 thousand pound sterling was exchanged against photographic film by Britain.
In the case of toys both Italy ( its maximum amount) and France contributed the same amount, nearly 160 thousand pounds sterling on purchasing these goods. France spent mostly on photographic films and it was on personal stereos, Italy invested its least amount of money.
Thus, Britain, one among the four European countries, was found to be the highest contributor in the trade of these six consumer goods.
