The chart below shows annual average spending on clothes per person in the US in 1985 1995 and 2005

The chart illustrates that people (men, women, boys and girls) spent to clothes how many money between 1985 and 2005.
Overall, it seems that women’s clothes were more population bought than other people and no significantly difference in boys’ and girls’ clothes.
According to the information given, women’s clothes had been spent around 500$ in 1985 but that year, men bought totally 300$ and however, next 10 years, men’s clothing were bought that sharply increase to more 400$, as well as, women’s clothes were also some increase than last 10 years. Then, in 2005, women purchased clothes that dramatically increase than all of people but men had not been increased so, there were few drop to 400$ in 2005.
On the other hand, girl’s clothes some increased between 1985, 1995 and 2005 so, every 10 years, there were similar grown 10 $ and boy’s clothes were bought nearly 100$ in 1985 and in 1995 and 2005, the figure few risen and there were equal.
