The chart below shows changes in three different areas of crime in manchester city centre from 2003 to 2012

The chart information about the changes that occurred in various sectors of crime namely burglary, car theft and robbery in Newport city centre throughout the years from 2003 to 2012.
Overall, the number of crimes within the city remain almost constant at the end of the survey for sector of car theft and robbery. However, burglary rates decrease in large extent in 2012 compared with 2003.
In 2003, the highest number of incidents were recorded for burglary which was around 3400 and reached its peak in the following year 2004 about 3800. Then it dropped sharply to around 1100 in 2008 and became second highest. After that slightly increased and remained constant till the end though there was some fluctuation.
In the case of car theft and robbery, lowest number of incidents observed for robbery approximately 600 and stay almost motionless throughout the survey, where, the number of crimes in car theft sector was almost 5 times higher than robbery. During 2006, number of car theft plummet to around 2000 compared to the previous year the increased again and took the highest place of all three categories though it remained constant at the end compared to the 2003.
