The given table illustrates the spending on consumer goods of two different countries including Frace and the UK in the year 2010.

Overall, the outlay on consumer items in the UK was higher than in France in 2010. In the same year, money spent on cars was receiving the highest figures, while the opposite was true for perfume in the UK and cameras in France.

In terms of expenditure in France on consumer goods, cars recorded the highest statistic of 400,000 pounds, closely followed by computers at 380,000 pounds. The next highest figures were for books at 300,000 pounds, much higher than 200,000 pounds of perfume. Meanwhile, cameras had the lowest statistic at 150,000 pounds, making it become a good that inhabitants of France did not buy too much.

Turning to figures for the UK, spending on cars is the same in France but a higher amount spent at 450,000 pounds, way higher than books at 400,000 pounds. The next highest statistics were for computers and cameras, both at 350,000 pounds. Lastly, perfume recorded the figure of approximately 150,000 pounds, by far the lowest figure of the chart.
