During the 20-year period, commencing from 1982, the figures for pipeline fluctuated around ten million tonnes.
Turning to the statistics for water and rail, they came in second and third place in 1974, with 40 and approximately 40 million tonnes. Throughout the period of 28 years, figures for water showed a remarkable increase to roughly 70 million tonnes. Likewise, the transportation of rail did not change too much.
