In general, most Americans consumed food at fast-food restaurants once a week in all three years and once or twice a month in both 2003 and 2013. On the other hand, Americans who ate at fast-food restaurants every day had the lowest percentage.

It can be seen from the provided chart, people in the USA who ate fast food once a week and once or twice a month accounted for the high proportions. The data of people who go to fast-food restaurants once a week fluctuated between 2003 and 2013, from well above one forth to about 33 percent. People who ate fast food at restaurants once or twice a month also have the unstable percentage, at 30 percent in 2003, at a quarter in 2006 and well above 30 percent in the final year.

To compare, the figures for Americans who ate at fast-food restaurants every day and never were very low and the lowest is every day. It was at lightly under 5 percent in 2003 and deceased at about 3 percent in 2006 and 2013. Furthermore, people who go to fast food restaurants a few times a year also had low data. It was at less than three twentieths in 2003 and increased by about 3 percent and remained that percentage in both 2006 and 2013. The proportion of people who ate meals at fast-food restaurants several times a week was the lowest in 2013, at around 15 percent, and the highest in 2008, at one-fifth.
