The chart below shows the number and the purpose of trips made by men and women in a certain European country in 2007

The chart gives information about the trip's data and its purpose based on five different factors (day trip, sports/ entertainment, visiting friends, shopping and traveling to work) taken by men and women residing in a specific European country in the year 2007.

Overall, men tend to travel most for work whereas women are attracted maximum to shopping. Both men and women plan least day trips. The data for traveling to work shows the most significant difference after the data for shopping.

Noticeably, women take almost 25 day trips and men have a higher number of day trips than women which is around 35. Sports or entertainment data among men and women depicts that men are more interested in these trips than women and the data states almost 140 to 130 respectively. Men traveled to work more frequently than women taking nearly 325 trips in a year however women’s work trip data was just close to 210.

In addition to this, women were more interested in shopping and visiting friends as compared to men. The proportion of men and women for visiting friends was slightly lower than 200 and a bit more than 200 respectively. Similarly, if we consider the data for shopping, women have a higher ranger of nearly 275 than men which is only close to 190.
