The bar chart illustrates the toal number of the transportation methods when five to twelve years old kids have to school in one city between 1990 to 2010.
it can be clearly seen that there are five options for transporting and just one options rose. Overall, cycling became the most unpopular method to school.
In 1990, the most popular way is walking, is located at 12.5 millions kids, and it declined dramatically by 50% to 6 millions kids at 2010. By contrast, the atmosphere is unpopular for car passenger at 1990, it only held 4.5 millions kids, but it increased rapidly after twenty years, up to 11.5 millions as well as became the most popular travel tool.
On the other hand, bus was also popular at 1990, more than 6 millions took it to school and back to home, and it was dropped slightly to 5 millions in the year 2010. cycling or walking and bus are almost same at 1990, at around 6 millions took them respectively, however, they also declined significantly to 2 millions kids and 3 millions kids independently.
