Overall, it can be seen that the adults in the 16-24 age group were the maximum who used the internet, while the over 65+ age group had the least Internet users. Interestingly, all age group showed an ap-ward trend.
According to the graph, in 2003 and 2004, the netizens in the 16-24 age group were 80%. In 2005, this figure increased rapidly and peaked at 100% by 2005. However after that decreased slightly and reached about 90% in the next year. In the 25-44 age group, there was a gradual growth in the percentage of internet users, rising from 60% in 2003 to 80% in 2006. A dramatic increase in the internet users was seen in the 45-54 age group, from 60% to 80% in the given period. The percentage of 55-64 year olds who used the internet between 30% and 50% in the given period. The adults in the over 65+ age group were 17% in 2004 and 2005, after that this figure rose gradually to 20% in 2006
