The chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
From the chart, we have got the percentage of men and women of various age groups who had taken part in regular physical activities in 2010.
In male group, highest 52.8 % belongs to 15 to 24 age group and 35 to 44 age group has the lowest (39.5) in percentage. Besides, there is only 2% difference between 55 to 64 age group (45.1%) and 45-54 age group (43.1).
In female group, 45 to 54 age group’s participation rate is 53.3%, which is highest in number, and 65 and over group has the lowest interest (47.1%) rate. 15 to 24 and 25 to 34 age group’s participation percentages are 47.7 % and 48.9 % respectively.
So, after seeing the male and female group, it is clear that young males were more interested to take part in 2010 physical activities program than young females. On contrary, Middle age (45 to 54) women were more enthusiastic than middle age males.
