The bar chart compares the percentage of citizens having different habits of drinking coffee and tea in five distinct cities in Australia in last 4 weeks.
It is clear that except for people in Adelaide, most residents in the 4 others cities went to a cafe for drinks. Also, the rate of people ordering instant coffee was always higher than those consuming fresh coffee in all the 5 cities.
Regarding the drinking habits of people in Sydney and Melbourne in last 4 weeks, the percentage of peole having coffee and tea in a cafe in Melbourne was about 63%, compared with around 61% of people in Sydney. Similarly, the proportion of citizens buying instant coffee in Belbourne was roughly 48%, which was gently higher than the figure for those in Sydney (at approximately 43%). Meanwhile, the rates of residents spending on fresh coffee in the both of cities were under 45%.
In terms of the remaining cities, the proportion of people having drinks in a cafe was around 62%, in comparison with about 55% of people in Brisbane and 49% of citizens in Adelaide. Additionally, buying instant coffee accounted for roughly 53% of people in Hobart, followed by Brisbane and Adelaide (at 52% and 50% respectively). Lastly, close to 38% of people spending on fresh coffee in Hobart while those figures were nearly 34% in Brisbane and Adelaide.
