The chart below shows the results of a survey of people who visited four types of tourist attraction in Britain in the year 1999.

The pie chart illustrates the distribution of tourists who visited four groups of tourist attractions in Britain in 1999. And the table summarizes the percentage of visitors visited the fives famous places in Theme Parks.

As can be seen from the pie chart, tourists preferred the most Theme Part, accounted for 38% of the whole, followed by museums and galleries and historic houses and monuments made up 37 percentages and 16 percentages respectively. Wildlife Parks and Zoos took the least proportion at only 9% of the whole.

In the largest proportion – Theme Park, most visitors referred to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, accounted for almost haft of the whole, the second and third favorite places were Alton Towers and Pleasureland, Southport which made up 17% and 16% respectively. The two places had the least attractive to tourists were Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland, Windsor took the same proportion at 10%.

In conclusion, visitors went to Britain had the tendency to go to Theme Park and museums and galleries. And Blackpool Pleasure Beach was the most attractive place at Theme Park.
